We are happy to announce the release of Scenargie® 1.5. Scenargie Multi-Agent Extension Module is newly added to the lineup of Scenargie extension modules. It offers various transportation models and dynamic route search capability. Scenargie Base Simulator, ITS Extension Module, LTE module and Trace Analyzer also offer many new models and features while Scenargie Visual Lab has been extended for significantly improved usability. Scenargie 1.5 supports Mac OS X and Windows 7 with new licensing module. Further, it offers license detachment feature which enables license to be temporarily detached from license server. (※Fast Urban Propagation Module and High Fidelity Propagation Module do not support Mac OS X.)
A detailed list of added features and models is as follows:
■Base Simulator
- Ad-hoc routing protocol (nuOLSRv2)
- VBR application
- Flooding application
- Mobility model (Stationary)
■Visual Lab
- Automatic placement of buildings
- Placement of traffic signals and other objects in cooperation with Multi-Agent
Extension Module
- Setting of Visual Lab default values
- Charting of multiple statistics
■ITS Extension Module
- GeoNet:
Basic Transport Protocol
Geonetworking Protocol(*SHB)
Decentralized Congestion Control(*TPC、TDC、DSC)
- ITS Broadcast application
■LTE Module
- Handover function
■Multi-Agent Extension Module
- Transportation models (Walking, bicycle, private car, taxi, bus and train)
- Dynamic route search
- Settings of user profile, user behavior and vehicle timetable
■Trace Analyzer
- Mobility trace file converter

We are happy to announce that Scenargie® 1.4, the newest version of our simulator, has been released. Scenargie® 1.4 includes many new models including an ad-hoc routing protocol and two RF propagation models in Base Simulator, and a full protocol stack of Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments (WAVE), including multi-channel operations defined in IEEE 1609.4 in ITS Extension Module. Further, Visual Lab (Scenargie's GUI) has been extended significantly for improved usability. These new models and features allow customers to simulate a WAVE based ITS more flexibly and effectively than ever. We have also officially supported 64-bit Linux operating systems in Scenargie® 1.4.
A detailed list of added features and models is as follows:
■Base Simulator
- Trace-based propagation model
- Indoor propagation model (COST231 Indoor)
- Ad-hoc routing protocol (AODV, OLSR)
- Flat fading model that accounts for time correlation and dynamic velocity
■Visual Lab
- Path loss calculation between nodes in RF Propagation Analyzer
- Display of ray paths between nodes
- GIS data creation for indoor environments
- Display of object properties in a spreadsheet style
- Improved Object Type Editor
■ITS Extension Module
- Multi-channel operations defined in IEEE 1609.4
- WSMP*-IPv6 dual system stack defined in IEEE 1609.3
*WSMP: WAVE Short Message Protocol
■Dot Eleven Module
- Adaptive rate control model (ARF*)
*ARF: Auto Rate Fallback
