Scenargie® 2.1 has been released. In order to realize simulation in more realistic city environment with the finer mobilities, Multi-Agent Extension Module extended and enhanced its features.

For examples, a queue caused by congestion of people better expresses evacuation activity in a time of disaster. Also, the newly added a behavior model which enables an agent walks to the destination after parking a car at the parking area. This model should be useful for parking facility development and for city planning project.

As for Base Simulator and for other extension modules, several new features are added based on customer requests. Especially for Dot Eleven Module, significant feature expansion and enhancement are added into 802.11ad model.

In terms of supported OS and compilers, the newest environment such as Windows 10 and El Capitan are provided.

<Base Simulator>

-Added ITU Urban Micro (Umi) pathloss model

-Added jitter setting in AbstractNetworkMac model

 

<Dot Eleven Module Standard>

-Added new feature to restrict number of A-MPDU sub-frames

-Enhanced preamble detection feature

-Added new statistics of transmitted and received bytes (throughput)

-Fixed an issue with RTS/CTS when channel bonding is enabled (802.11ac, etc)

-Fixed an issue with sequence numbering in management frame

 

<Dot Eleven Module Advanced>

-Release of Dot Eleven Module Advanced (Replacement of Dot Eleven Module Professional)

(802.11ad Mode)

-Added new traces and statistics for DMG frames

-Expanded MCS choices (MCS: 0-24)

-Expanded BER curve choices (AWGN, Channel model: 1-6)

-Added custom antenna setting for quasi omni mode

-Added a feature to associate with AP based on RSSI

-Fixed an issue with directional transmission of A-MPDU

 

<LTE Module>

-Fixed an issue with packet transmission abort when hand-over

 

<ITS Extension Module>

-Terminated the support of MATES as a mobility model

 

<Multi-Agent Extension Module>

-Added new behavior (queue) to reproduce a congested situation at the entrance of a building

-Added new behavior which enables an agent to park he/her car at a parking lot before heading a final destination

-Added new feature to output initialized values of a scenario setting and import the values as a scenario (Initial positions of agents, auto-generated entrances)

-Added new feature to set present location in the main map as initial position.

 

<Emulation Module>

-Fixed an issue with access of an uninitialized variable

 

<Fast Urban Propagation Module>

-Updated radio propagation object library (WI API 2.5 -> 2.7)

 

<High Fidelity Propagation Module>
