Scenargie® Extension Modules

We develop various extension modules for Scenargie® Visual Lab and Base Simulator. The followings are the current offering of Scenargie® extension modules:

・Scenargie® Dot Eleven Module

Scenargie® Dot Eleven Module is a communication system module for conducting simulation of IEEE802.11 wireless LAN standard. It contains 802.11a/g PHY model and 802.11e (EDCA) MAC model. Moreover, it also contains an extension for Wireless Access Vehicular Environment (IEEE802.11p) standard for vehicular communication.

・Scenargie® LTE Module

Scenargie® LTE Module is a communication system module for conducting simulation of 3GPP LTE (Long Term Evolution) standard. It is able to evaluate end-to-end system performance for systems composed of several base stations (BS) and user terminals (UE).

・Scenargie® ITS Extension Module

Scenargie® ITS Extension Module is an extension module for conducting system simulation of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). It provides Taga model and ITU-R P.1411 models as radio wave propagation model, and is compatible to the following ITS communication system standards: ARIB STD-T109 (Japan), WAVE (United States) and GeoNet protocol models (Europe). It enables detailed and integrated ITS simulation including from vehicle mobility to radio wave propagation such as vehicle-to-vehicle or infrastructure-to-vehicle communication systems.

・Scenargie® Multi-Agent Extension Module

Scenargie® Multi-Agent Extension Module performs multi-agent simulation in combination with Scenargie Base Simulator. It enables realistic mobility simulation which dynamically changes routes and means of transportation (walk, bicycle, private car, taxi, bus, train) according to user attributes and environmental aspects. The module provides APIs to customize the provided models and add an original behavior model. User behaviors and user attributes can be configured through Scenargie Visual Lab. Moreover, communication system simulations assuming realistic user mobility can be conducted with other extension module such as Dot Eleven Module and LTE Module.

・Scenargie® Fast Urban Propagation Module

Scenargie® Fast Urban Propagation Module is a library module for speedy and precise calculation of radio wave propagation developed jointly with Remcom Inc. Able to speedily calculate the effect of shadowing and/or diffraction of radio waves by buildings and vehicle bodies etc. Conducts simulation of radio communication system based on GIS information such as buildings in combination with radio communication system protocol model. Also conducts graphical radio wave propagation analysis like base station placement design in combination with Scenargie Visual Lab. 

・Scenargie® High Fidelity Propagation Module

Scenargie® High Fidelity Propagation Module is a library module for highly precise calculation of radio wave propagation developed jointly with Remcom Inc. Able to conduct simulation for precise radio wave propagation environment with considers the effect of reflection, shadowing and diffraction. 

・Scenargie® Trace Analyzer

Scenargie® Trace Analyzer is a module to graphically display trace data from Scenargie Simulator. User can add an own trace information, and it is useful to clearly specify analysis result when presenting a research and a paper.
